Building Outreach Ministry

The Bunkertown Building Outreach Ministry (BOM) exists to minister to the Bunkertown congregation and surrounding community, acting as the hands and feet of Jesus as we serve in His name with the gifts we’ve been given. The BOM provides emergency and necessary home renovations and repairs, and related services, to Bunkertown members, regular attenders, and their families and friends.

Types of projects we support include, but aren’t limited to:

– Window and door repair or replacement
– Roof repairs or replacement (rubber, shingled, and metal roofs)
– Installation of flooring (vinyl sheet goods or plank flooring), including subfloor repair or replacement
– Repair or replace window, door, or baseboard trim
– Removal of downed trees
– Electrical
– Plumbing
– Drywall repair
– Repair or replacement of concrete porches or sidewalks
– Repair or new construction for ADA ramps at exterior entrances
– Upgrade or install new lighting
– Widen doorways for wheelchair access

How to help: If you have some trades skills or abilities, even as a helper, and want to volunteer on a project, please contact the BOM at The BOM also accepts donations of materials and supplies, and financial donations toward the purchase of materials.
